Our Mission
Frisco’s police and fire departments are vital to public safety. I will advocate for sufficient funding, equipment, and training to keep them prepared. This means upgrading technology, enhancing training programs, and ensuring adequate staffing levels for the city's increasing needs.
Beyond daily safety, we must enhance our city's readiness for disasters, health crises, or unexpected situations. We will develop and maintain an updated, well-coordinated emergency response plan that remains accessible to all residents of Frisco.
Public safety relies on strong partnerships between law enforcement and the people. We must advance community policing efforts together to build trust and cooperation. A connected city is ultimately safer for all.
Public safety is not only about addressing crime; it’s about stopping it. We will support initiatives that prevent crime, like youth engagement, after-school programs, and neighborhood watch efforts. When communities are engaged and supported, crime rates naturally decrease.
As Frisco expands in this digital era, protecting our city’s cybersecurity remains essential. I will collaborate with officials and specialists to defend our infrastructure, businesses, and citizens. Cybersecurity awareness and resources will also be prioritized to keep residents informed.
By focusing on nurturing local talent, attracting top-notch universities, and bringing in corporations, we can create a thriving local economy. This economic growth can lead to increased revenue for the city through various channels such as business taxes, sales taxes, and other forms of local revenue. When the city has a higher revenue base, it can afford to lower property taxes for residents while still maintaining and improving public services and infrastructure.
Additionally, the presence of top universities and corporations can increase property values in the area. Higher property values mean that even with a lower property tax rate, the city can still collect sufficient revenue to fund its operations and projects. This creates a win-win situation where residents benefit from lower property taxes, and the city benefits from a robust and diverse revenue stream.
We can create programs that identify and nurture local talent from a young age. This could include partnerships with schools to offer specialized training, internships, and mentorship opportunities with local businesses. By investing in our youth, we ensure a steady pipeline of skilled individuals who can contribute to the local economy.
Attracting renowned universities to Frisco can have a significant impact on the community. These institutions can offer advanced educational opportunities, foster research collaborations, and drive innovation. We can highlight the benefits of having such universities, including increased property values, a more educated workforce, and enhanced cultural and social activities.
The presence of top universities can make Frisco an attractive location for corporations looking for skilled graduates and research partnerships. We can
discuss how this can lead to job creation, economic growth, and a more vibrant business environment. Additionally, we can explore incentives and support systems to encourage corporations to set up their operations in Frisco.
By focusing on local talent and attracting universities and corporations, we can ensure that revenue generated within the community stays within the
community. This can lead to a more sustainable and thriving local economy. We can also explore initiatives that encourage local spending and investment, such as supporting small businesses and promoting local products and services.
